PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

PRP method is one of the most common applications in the field of non-surgical aesthetics in recent years. In PRP, the patient uses the thrombocytes in his own blood. It is the process of separating the small amount of blood taken from the patient as a result of a special procedure and applying it to the same person by injection for skin rejuvenation. Stem cells are stimulated in the areas injected with PRP and the tissues are renewed.
It is used for the removal of collapses and wrinkles caused by exposure to ultraviolet rays, except for aesthetics (face, neck, hands, inner legs, arms, décolleté area), for hair loss treatment, for wounds, cracks, and acne scars that take longer to heal.

The procedure usually takes 30 minutes, can be done up to 3 injections in a 6-month period with 2-3 weeks. It takes 8-12 weeks to fully see its effect; PRP application is a forward-looking application.

After the application, redness and bruising may be seen. When the procedure is done, it is necessary to protect from the sun.

PRP application can be done by injection or by Dermapen application.
